Methodology for Residential Building Stock Refurbishment Planning—Development of Local Building Typologies

This paper presents the methodology for implementation of building typology principles as a tool strategic planning residential stock energy retrofits on municipal level in Serbia. Research was conducted under IEE EPISCOPE (Intelligent Energy Europe EPISCOPE/TABULA project) project with aim developing an adequate creating retrofit management strategies local level. An approach that envisions diversity and uneven spatial distribution smaller scale municipalities includes statistically relevant sampling all types developed tested pilot focused city Vršac. Two options development were formulated: top-down approach, which relies data from national or other available databases by reducing them to level, bottom-up represents new gathering processing method. Both approaches results are compared this paper. From conclusions these analyses, common typologies has been defined. It can be used stock, whether purpose action plans (LEAPs) purposes internationally.
